New 2014 Rateings
The team I played on last year had a tournament record against local run of the mill teams of (I think) 4-2.

We finished 7th in SPA. SSUSA is much stronger than SPA.

AND, you SSUSA STAFF re-rated this team from AAA to MAJOR???????
I really want to say something really insulting about your
very being and mental compacity but for the life of me
I just can not go as low as you SSUSA STAFF.

We may have been able to finish 10th in your season ending nationals.

I also see where you re-rated teams that finished ahead of us down
from Major to AAA.

SSUSA Staff do you just flip a coin?????

James English

P.S. I do not normally post my name, however, I have supported you and even defended you for 15 or 18 years. I just do not understand
why you use a coin to decide your decisions.

We don't normally participate in opinion based message threads here, but occasionally it is required to set the record straight. This is one of those times.

Your team (Harris Auctions) participated in two SSUSAA sanctioned events this past season, winning them both in undefeated fashion in the 70-AAA division. One of those two was the Midwest Championships TOC Qualifier in Shawnee, KS. While we appreciate and respect that you compete in SPA events, our primary analysis of a team's performance within SSUSA tournaments takes precedence in our rating reviews.

In those two SSUSA events ...

• Your Win-Loss record was 9-0;
• Your team scored 160 runs in those games (Average: 17.8 runs/game);
• Your team won those nine games with an aggregate run differential of +67 runs (Average: +7.4 runs/game);
• Your team won the Championship games in those events by 12 and 13 runs, respectively; and
• Your average run differential was +2.0 vs. 70-Major, +7.4 vs. 70-AAA and +9.3 vs. 70-AA teams

Your manager has received the formal correspondence regarding this rating change, including the reasons, and we strongly believe your team's Performance Based Rating Move to 70-Major is justified and appropriate. Good luck in 2014.

No kidding, how could you, SSUSA bump this team after those stats or should I say facts.
