Combat Avarice G2 USSSA review
Ok Guys,
Bright sunny and warm day yesterday in South Florida so I headed over to meet a few guys and put Combats new Avarice G2 to the test. Some of you may remember it from last year , a bright lime green colored bat that was a decent performer. This years version gets Combats new G2 technology and let me tell you....it works well! This bat performed as good or better than any other USSSA bat after peeling the wrapper off. It is in the early lead for the famous "best bat for the buck" award for 2014. Last years winner was Mikens Rev X but Combat gets the early lead here. The bat has a solid feel up and down the barrel and boy does it hit! For you guys looking for a league bat, bp bat, or for kids tournament play, this is a wise choice for around $200 with a full year WARRANTY. The Avarice is a uniload bat....ie, not severely end loaded or balanced. I hit the 27 (I usually use a 28) and it's swing weights and balance points were spot on. (I did not drop in weight due to feel, I brought out a 27 so more people could try it) I got them in and after that performance I will certainly be ordering more. Stay warm....hit 'em hard!

With only 7 days into the year, correct me if wrong but I believe this is the 1st bat you've done this year...That Triad was last year and last one mentioned....
So the 'early lead' doesn't say much.
Happy New Year...

Young man...!
You sir are correct with your dating but.....a bat that hits like this is worth mentioning in that light! Compared against other Usssa bats ,
( I've hit a few...:) !) this bat stands out. Very, very good right out of the wrapper for ANY year of bat.
Best to you Taits,
Alan

Guys,
Just to clarify on pricing of the Avarice G2. Retail pricing is at $219.99. I stated it was around $200 but just wanted to be sure that you got accurate pricing as suggested by Combat.
Thanks,

Alan, It's a well known fact, Combat makes great bats. Pretty much for any assn's use.

I got my whole post on the Twilight bat removed and didn't even have pricing....
Seems as though bias is alive and well. STILL
I'm not even a rep or dealer either...
