Hitting deep
I just got the senior newspaper. Great article on where to strike the ball to drive it deep. I gathered some info on the same idea before last season.
In our 1st tourney that I tried this in Milwaukee-Day one, Had only 2 or 3 hits. Popped up to the catcher twice, pitcher once and 3rd once along with some weak flies. Day 2, went back to hitting the ball in the middle and finshed strong.

Question: With ball dropping down in its arc, can you guys really see and hit the bottom half of a softball? If so, how much practice does this take?
With us Chicago area players our season is only from May to Oct and good lord I hate to waste at bats.
