Can someone tell me why DeMarini Black Ops bag is so expensive
Why does the Black Ops Bag cost so much? Does anyone else make a bag that has individual bat sleeves like it does? I figure I am going to buy 1 more bag for myself, then no more. Seems like every year I have to buy a new one. Mostly because of airlines beating the crap out of them......and ideas?

In a word greed.

I looked into them as well as a few other large bags. The Tanel 360 is up there also but seems guys like it. A Barrage bag isn't or wasn't guite so $$ but company ran out. The make a couple different sizes so you have to do homework. Found a great bad but had delivery issues with them. took month hals to get it and had to \get cc company to tell them order would be cancelled if not delivered within xxx number of days. Got a bag its 1. very big, 2. has more pockets than probably any other bag out there, Bag I finally got it, is made of so so quality, had lots of storage, holds more than 6 bats, depending on how you use bag can do about 11. Company I think is shoe string type, but if you get the product you might like it.
I have placed everything in it not actually carried it place to place or the like. it sits ready to go but since I can't play (yet or who knows when) it will stay there ready to go. Holds all my gear pitcher stuff also.
Sport 55 bag roller bag. Give appearance of big company but not. I had ti really get into them since I didn't get my bag as originally stated and was prepaid.

Try the Tanel 360, it is reasonable and also if you look through some of the discussions there is a code that will get you a 20% discount

Big Mike, regarding your bat bag getting beaten up the airlines (and they do) ... go out and purchase a duffle bag from an Army/Navy surplus store. Stick the bat bag in it right before you check in and and take it out after baggage claim. This will help the life span of whatever bat bag you have!

Get a golf bad duffle bag style with wheels...you can put for sure 2 maybe 3 bat bags in them and split the cost with the other 1 or 2 guys...its not rocket science!!!!!!

I hate when bags are expensive just because of the name, especially since they usually fall apart after a year! I like their idea of just getting a duffle bag to put your regular bag into for flying purposes. It's not worth the money of a travel bag if you just have to continually get a new one.
