2015 Combat Dirty G3 Reload
I just received a 2015 Combat Dirty G3 Reload. GREAT BAT. The new Dirty breaks in a lot faster than the original Dirty. New technology, thanks to Bauer buying Combat, really helps the Dirty be game ready in a few swings. I'm not sure why, but this Combat has a huge sweet spot, making it a very forgiving bat. If you are looking for a bat that doesn't take 150+ swings to break in, this is it. I was very happy with the old Dirty & the new Dirty is even better. Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the 4 older Dirty's I have hanging in my garage......

Buy the new Dirty, You won't be sorry.

Plus, rumor has it there is a 2 piece Dirty in the works.

I try to hit twice a week & play 2-3 tournaments a week. I'm going to keep hitting it to see just how hot it will get. I'll post more as time goes on.

Mark, do you rate this bat better than the Combat Ambush as far as hitting(once broke end) and sweet spot? How about the Reebok Melee?

I like it better than the Ambush, as it seems to hit harder. It's close to the older Melee. The more I hit it, the hotter it gets. The latest Melee's seem to take a lot more to break in. My newer Melee's aren't as hot as the new Dirty. The best part!, They are available right now. I tried to buy an end loaded Melee for a friend & they aren't available.& who knows if they will ever be available........ I'm not in the bat business, I have to buy my own bats. So right now the hot bat seems to be the G3 Dirty Reload.......

Thanks Mark, sounds like I need to try one of these out. Like I need another bat. Maybe my marriage will stand one more bat in the house.

I had the opportunity to swing the new 2015 Dirty last week and I'm in full agreement with Mark. I liked the old Dirty (it was my gamer bat) but the new Dirty has some improvements and comes out of the wrapper hotter and has a very solid feel about it. Ron "Barney" Barnhart and Steve Owens was hitting with me and Barney was hitting some balls around the 375 marker with a bat with less than 50 swings on it. Kelly has posted a video of us hitting on his website.

The just came out with another on pre-order, the 'Protent'.
a few videos are out there but one that only showed some great hits really didn't show the bat. up close. Video on Combat site was lousy or at least the one I viewed. Left handed batter was hitting to the left and right but I couldn't tell how well it was I left about half way through.
As they say, it isn't the bat it's the user. lol

I had the pleasure of hitting with Steve Imlay last week with both of us swinging the new Combat Dirty..I am a big fan of the old Dirty Bat and was really impressed with the performance of the new Dirty Bat...

I need a new senior bat, and the 2015 Dirty is on my short list. I'm trying to gauge which weight would be best for me. I swing a Combat Wanted 27oz for my ASA leagues. It's very end-loaded and just a tad heavy for me, but nevertheless is my gamer.

The 2015 Dirty is .5oz end loaded, and the weights are listed as 25.5, 26.5, 27.5 or 28.5. I'm leaning towards the 26.5, but before I shell out $199 I'm hoping for some feedback from somebody who's swung both the Wanted and the Dirty.

I have a Wanted in my arsenal as well as a couple of Twilights. The Wanted has way more handle flex than I care for & the Twilight has even more handle flex than the Wanted. Just wait until you hit one off the end of the bat & you will know what I mean. I'm a bit of a bat snob, as all of my friends will attest. I have probably 50 senior bats hanging in my garage. I'm always looking for that one magic stick. LOL

Rumor has it that there is some testing going on this week on a 2 piece Dirty. I'm sure that I will have a few them in my arsenal, as well........

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am to understand that Reebok is out of the bat business......

Mark,
What weights have you swung with the Wanted and Dirty, and how do they compare? For example, does the Wanted swing heavier than the Dirty at the same weight?

Thanks,
Marty

I ordered a 26.5oz Dirty G3 Reload, and it arrived today. Haven't had a chance to hit it yet, but it swings considerably lighter than my 27oz ASA Wanted.

Give Combat a call. They have great customer service, and there is a good chance they will replace it.
