May 10, 2014 Rockbrn0 7 posts | Triangle Masters Team Guys- I would like to take this time to Thank the players of this team that saved my life last weekend in Raleigh NC at Walnut Grove Complex. There is no doubt, without the quick thinking and the fast response to my blacking out incident last Sunday, I possibly would not be here today. Severe dehydration is nothing to laugh it. Words cannot express my thankfulness to each and everyone of you. Softball is a game that the good Lord allows us to play and enjoy, unfortunately some of us get caught up in the moment and hype of the game. Then we forget what is really important, our lives, friends and family. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days at Wake Med, what a great staff and hospital they have. They treated myself and my girlfriend (Kelly) with the utmost respect. Being out of town, they gave Kelly a bed in the same room as myself. That was Great!!! Also want to Thank the gentleman who gave Kelly their sweatband as a gift of prayer. We prayed with that armband everyday. God Bless You!!! Your team will forever be etched in my life. I wish each of you a blessed life and can't Thank You enough. You guys have a quality ball team, not just on the field but off the field also--- Thank You Very Much- Ralph "Rock" Brown #0 |

I, for one, am happy he was there and honored to have him as a team mate! Take care, but get back on the field as soon as you can! Oh, and remember, Rock...."it's always a good time for a solo" wink, wink!!! A dik #06 |
