| May 12, 2014 SSUSA Staff 3490 posts | ROCK 'n RENO CHALLENGE CUP 2014 DRAFT Game Schedules & Brackets DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for SESSION #1 of the 2014 Rock 'n Reno Challenge Cup in Reno, Sparks and Carson City, NV, have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting the evening before play commences ... NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend the meeting will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting. Tournament rosters are frozen as of the Managers Meeting. NO on-site player additions are allowed without Tournament Director approval before teams first game. Managers who do not attend Manager Meeting, and do not send a representative, will be prohibited from beginning tournament play before check-in with Field Director and are prohibited from roster additions ... The Master Games & Fields Grid has been posted and the Participating Teams Tab on the Tournament Page has been activated ... Good luck to all! Revisions were required to reflect their absence ... There are TWO teams [N.T.O. and Rancid/Miken Sports] that will now play one game slot EARLIER than as originally scheduled ... Their first games will be at 12:30 PM rather than 2:00 PM ... Revisions have been posted online with an effective date of 05/15/2014 ... We apologize for any inconveniences, which were entirely outside of anyone's control ... Good luck! |
| May 19, 2014 SSUSA Staff 3490 posts | SESSION #2 & #3 REVISIONS There have been revisions in SESSION #2 to reflect the late withdrawal of a 65-AAA team (Mustangs), reducing the division from 20 teams to 19 ... Changes affect: 65-AAA - Round robin seeding games on Tuesday morning for several teams have been changed ... Please re-confirm your game times from the schedule set revision of 05/19/2014 and discard any prior versions you may have downloaded and printed ... Other changes were made to the brackets, but those are largely irrelevant until seeding is complete ... 70-MAJOR+ and 75-MAJOR - Nominal changes were made in bracket play on Wednesday at Golden Eagle for each of these divisions, for the 2:00 PM bracket games only ... There were also nominal changes in the brackets (only) for the 50-MAJOR and 50-AAA at Centennial Park for later games on Saturday afternoon/evening in both divisions and all games in the 50-Major bracket on Sunday in order to end earlier ... All of the above referenced changes are reflected in the online schedule sets ... The Official Program for each session has already gone to press and will, accordingly, not have the most up-to-date versions ... Affects ALL teams seeding games on Friday at Rancho San Rafael ... Game times also revised for a later start for the facility at 9:00 AM ... Bracket changes affecting Saturday play at Golden Eagle ... WOMEN 40-MASTERS - Changes to 60-Major affects ALL Women 40-Masters teams seeding games on Friday at Rancho San Rafael ... Game times also revised for a later start for the facility at 9:00 AM ... MEN 40-MASTERS - Nominal changes to 40-Major Three-Game-Guarantee bracket for Saturday (only) ... Two originally scheduled 9:30 AM bracket games were moved to 11:00 AM to accommodate required changes in 60-Major bracket ... Please disregard any previously published DRAFT schedules dated prior to this Revision: 05/20/2014 ... These recent changes are reflected currently on the web site DRAFT schedule sets ... | May 21, 2014 SSUSA Staff 3490 posts | SESSION #2 REVISIONS There have been revisions at Shadow Mountain in SESSION #2 to reflect the late withdrawal of an 80-AAA team (Scrap Iron Gray Berets) ... Changes affect: 75-GOLD and 70-MAJOR - Round robin seeding game schedules for BOTH of these divisions were significantly revised to accommodate the changes required in the structure of the 80-AAA division ... There are nominal changes in the 75-AAA and 70-AA brackets on Thursday, but bracket play Wednesday was unaffected ... 80-AAA - A complete revision of the Round Robin seeding game schedule was required to reflect the reduction from six to five teams ... Bracket still commences (with one game) Tuesday afternoon, and Wednesday bracket game times remain unchanged ... Please re-confirm your game times from the schedule set revision of 05/21/2014 and discard any prior versions you may have downloaded and printed ... All of the above referenced changes are reflected in the online schedule sets ... The 55-Major revision is no longer necessary because Four Seasons/Wilkins/Weitzel (OR) has reversed their Friday withdrawal from the tournament and WILL BE in Reno ... DRAFT schedules from the previous version will be re-posted on Sunday or Monday ... Our apologies for any inconveniences ... |
