| May 14, 2014 Fred S Men's 85 297 posts | Why not? Depends on what kind of hitter you are. I use one and up till this year have had one of the highest batting avg on the team. I tried one a few years ago and the extra 15-20' turned my hits into outs. I will stay with my ASA bat and keep dropping the in front of the outfielders. |

| May 15, 2014 ju25 Men's 60 236 posts | 3.4(3) • APPROVED BATS All bats marked "1.21 BPF" (Bat Performance Factor) or less, SSUSA approved bats, or bats having an ASA 2000 or 2004 stamp are approved for use. Any bat displaying the label "Exceeds 1.21 BPF" is not approved. The rating must be clearly visible on the bat, or it must be obvious to the inspector that the bat is of an age to make it not high-tech. New stamp ASA only bats do not have the 1.20 bpf on them so they are no longer legal in SSUSA. In league ball it will depend on your league rules. USSSA bats have the 1.20 bpf so they should be legal. |
| May 15, 2014 Corky Men's 55 451 posts | My Softball bag is like my golf clubs...I start with the heaviest while I'm fresh and go lighter when I start to tire....also after the HR's are gone, go to a NSA Utrip or ASA to change distance BUT keep the weight and swing the same. |
