50 major was won by Cornerstone and congrats to them, but they won by Disqualification because west coast Aftershock got caught CHEATING by putting their Softballs on ICE. they also dropped from major plus to major to play in this tourney in which there roster should have been Frozen and they picked up a Major + player from out of state to play with them. I hope the SSUSA Directors take a good look at there own RULES and Appropriately make an example of what can happen if a team wants to break the RULES. Per the Rules of the tourney they got Disqualified but only from the Championship game, it should have been disqualification from the whole Tournament, it should not matter if it's the last, first or middle game you get caught your DONE and Suspension should be levied. or team will continue to try to get away with anything unless there is a precedence.

Mike-congratulations to you and GSC on winning again. I have the past 2 years figured out now as to why we couldn't win. You got rid of me and haven't lost a tournament yet. Lesson learned.

Cornerstone had allready beaten Aftershock earlier in the day to send them to the losers bracket so nothing should be taken away from Cornerstone who went undeafeated in the tourney. It was suprising that ssusa went ahead and gave them the 2nd place trophy considering they cheated.

If the game was called and Cornerstone was awarded the championship for that reason then they should have had to forfeit all games played in the tournament......correct?

Not sure about that one So Cal Z...might have to prove altered equipment was used in all previous games. You would only be assuming they did at this point in time.

SSUSA, we played the westerns in 2009 and played in the national title game. There were 2 teams in the eastern nationals this year and we felt did not warrant the time, travel and money. We were thrilled to come to CA and compete with the best. Our only wish would have been to be informed that we would not be eligible to play in the national game. Regardless we enjoyed this competition. Pope Transport

Brownie,,,,,can not believe ssusa did that to your team.Futhermore where are the teams you beat, they should tell ssusa that you should represent the west since you won the tournament.Come on 60 major teams speak up.Next year maybe they will tell everyone the rules.

Pope paid a lot of $ to travel west and came out on top so I don't see why they would not represent the west. I play on one of the team they beat to get to the top and in the spirit of competition they show be awarded the title.

Thank You:

James
