Where do they live, teams can only have two out of area players.
Thought they lived in Florida?

Since they are probably on nobody's roster how will they be picked up. We all know they would be rated 50 major+ and pickups are supposed to be from the next age group, so they can't play 50, maybe 45+?????? Anybody have the answer?????

Wouldn't they have to QUALIFY to be able to play on a team?

Jawood ... Subject to pre-existing "numbers" on the qualifying roster of a team looking to add players, that team can add up to player #12 from "same age/same (or lesser) skill level" and up to player #15 with "next older age/same (or lesser) skill level" so long as, of course, the player(s) are otherwise eligible as to age and residency ... Also, players don't have to qualify to play Major+ ... See complete player add rules for the World Masters from the "white paper" available from the RULES page herein ...

Back in the Pro-days, the "Detroit Caesars" signed Norm Cash & Mickey Stanley (both former Detroit Tigers) to contracts. They could play some very good defense but couldn't hit a lick with the 12" ball thrown underhand to them. They didn't last too long but did sell some serious tickets because of their names.

@Sparky.1,
I can tell you this - the Canseco brothers are no Northrup & Cash experiment. These boys can hit softballs a long way. I've played against Jose a couple of times and he is not only a really nice guy, but one heck of a slow pitch hitter. Any team that picks the Canseco brothers up will have a great chance at making a deep run in the division. I'd prefer to see them in the 40's though, just to get revenge for last year.
Good luck in finding a team.

I think it is great these two brothers want to join our game. More power to them and great for SSUSA.
Jose did MLB a service by exposing cheaters.

Great job and welcome to SSUSA.

Let Jose know that the rules in softball are the same as in baseball. If a ball hits you in the head and goes over the fence it is still a 4 base error!LOL

Had the great opportunity to play with Jose and Ozzie at the villages last year, they put on a show for the 500 or so fans that came to watch us play. It's fun to watch who can hit it father.
