Hi Tim ... We're going to just hand them out this year at the Manager Meetings the night before play commences ... It's a lot easier, and guarantees 100% Manager attendance at the meetings ... Simple!

Hi Dave! As long as someone broke the ice here. I have one question for you. When the first deadline is here, which is about a day away, will you be posting the tentative participating list of all the teams, regardless of the other deadlines?

Thanks Dave!

We will be posting the Preliminary Participating Teams lists on the day before (or the day of for Session #2 on Monday) the entry deadline for each session ... The Session #1 list was published today (Thursday) so that teams can make sure they meet that deadline at the close of business on Friday, September 5th ...

The three respective deadlines are firm (meaning the entry invoice, entry fee payment and roster items are complete), so that schedule theory layout, any required changes to TENTATIVE Field Assignments and other administrative items can be handled over the weekend simultaneous with the commencement of schedule construction ...

A shout out to SSUSA staff for putting the participating teams by age and level. It's about time, LoL.

Don't get too used to it! ... You guys need to exercise those minds trying to figure out who's in, and at what rating, in order to maintain the mental dexterity required to stay sharp! ... However, in reality, we don't (and won't in the future) publish qualifier event team lists by rating because so many teams change due to roster composition issues ... That's not a factor for the WMC because of the qualifying roster situations being firm ... That and some "analysts" may not be able to count high enough for a 62 team bracket! [just kidding!! ... sort of] ...

When is the last time you saw a 62 team bracket. Wow-7 games to the championship-and that is through the winners bracket. And we are taking 12 guys-whew.

Back in the good 'ol days, had a club participate in a 132-team bracket at the Canton Complex (outside of Detroit) for the U.S.S.S.A. National Qualifier. Lost our first game and played 14 games in the weekend including a scheduled game at 12 midnight. Still have the bracket sheet from the tourney in which we came through the loser's bracket to finish 5th and qualify.
