Bobby has been playing at a high level with great success for many years and glad to see him get a well deserved nomination. George really deserves this nomination as well for his playing ability (great infielder, outfielder and hitter)and his unassuming but competitive nature on the field. True gentleman of the game!!! Mr. Mike is one of the hardest hitters in the game and one of the true power hitters. He is also know for his clutch hitting and is a true competitor of the game and represents the sport well on and off the field. Congrats to all!!! SLi |

| Sept. 23, 2014 softball4b Men's 70 1248 posts | I want to thank everyone for kind words. An award of this type is not singular in its making. Without the love and support of my family, absolutely great teammates, and the Lord God my saviour, I do not believe this possible. The awards ceremony for myself and Bobby Davis will be held at BLD at 12:00 on Friday, Oct 3rd. There is a pool going on regarding the over under on the length of my acceptance speech. Don't worry about me though, my son Nolan is presenting the award and he is much more verbose than me. I promise it will not be too long, we all have ballgames to get to. |
