5 runs or extra fielder?
this has probably been discussed before, not sure or can't remember, but when a major team is playing a aaa team, and has to give either extra player or 5 runs, is a extra fielder better to have than the 5 runs? seems to me that since the runs come one at a time, in the 2nd thru 6th innings, a major team should be able to average 3-4 runs a inning and the aaa 2-3, seems having the extra infielder would be the way to go..any thoughts on how your team would choose?

We have always taken the extra fielder.

I would always take the extra fielder. A good rover with a strong arm will save you more than the 5 runs IMO.
