Here are some criteria and my rough ranking of their importance to me. Let's hear your thoughts. Well prepared fields Lots of games Equally matched competition/classification system well enforced Competent umpires 2 umpires per game Well organized schedule Water in dugouts Consideration for out of town teams in scheduling Seating for spouses/fans Official scorekeepers provided EMT's available Other possibilities, but way down my list: Social activities (BBQ's etc) Trophies Individual awards Cool T Shirts and merchandise Tournament located in attractive tourist area All star/all tournament teams Official tournament hotels |
