60s utility player looking for a team to play in Phoenix Nov 14,2014- Female
Hi- I play for NM Jazz and as our team is not going.. I was looking to join any women's 60s team who needs a player relatively adept at 1st, short fielder, outfielder or any other position (other than pitching). I am an aggressive player who is lacking speed (too many knee surgeries) but is a very savvy player. Line-drive singles hitter with a few doubles last year (the ball has to roll to the fence for me to make it to 2nd).
I have a rather warped sense of humor and looking for an enjoyable tournament.
contact Carol 505-507-5780.

At my request, "Broadway" above gave me permission to post a review of her play. I am a some-time manager of teams on which she has played. Broadway is an amazing athletic, intelligent 1B woman and shortfielder. I love it when she is playing either of these positions on teams I am managing. Broadway does play other positions well too. Broadway is also a "team player." She is easy to get along with and is always cheerful and enthused for the team's play and her play. She owns her mistakes (a little too self-deprecatingly, IMO) and never criticizes others. I do not think her sense of humor is warped. It's fun! If you sign Broadway, I doubt you will be sorry.
