Changes were required as the actual game allocations were slotted into the various facilities by day ... The principal items we addressed were ... • The unexpected growth in the tournament attendance, up from 150 last year to 176 this year ... The most significant growth was in the 40-Masters (Men increased from 9 to 14 and Women increased from 11 to 17) and the Men's 50's through 60's, up from 73 to 86 teams ... This is likely the last year the 40-Masters division will be offered in a two-day format because of the fields pressure the games burden for them has placed on the weekend for the rest of the divisions ... Look for a 2½ or 3 day format in 2015 for the 40-Masters ... • The travel implications on Friday for some divisions that were playing at multiple facilities ... Specifically, the 50-AAA Division will play early at BLD on Friday, and will commence bracket there in the afternoon except for four teams, who will move to Papago ... In the 55-AAA, bracket games will be assigned to both Desert West and Cesar Chavez for the 55-AAA on Friday ... Specific schedules will be forthcoming shortly, but we wanted to get this information out as soon as it was determined ... Good luck to all! ...
