Wagon- I don't have the access required to post the completed brackets to this site. The actual brackets for S2 were sent back to Sacramento. Dave is working overtime to put PHX schedules together right now, but I'm sure they will get posted soon enough.

Bernie- my apologies for drawing a blank on the WC Thunder finish. Too many things happening at once yesterday, I guess. Congrats on a solid weekend.

Bernie17: My Dad once told me a (maybe true) story about golfer Sam Snead ... He holed out from a sand trap in a tournament, and a spectator said "Gee, that was sure lucky!" ... To which Sam (purportedly) replied: "I know, and for every thousand times I practice that shot, I get luckier and luckier" ... Maybe there's an analogy there somewhere ...

Nice to know that you practice , you work on timing so you can attack the ball when its pitched but if you hit it hard your bat must be special . Hitman next tournament you can inspect my bats a Reebok and a Miken Ultra . I am on Good Times and no one has an altered bat so what I am saying yes there are som dumb people out there.

Sorry Bernie my bad. Guess I need to practice more or have more talent to half swing and still hit it 325 into a breeze but everyone else playing is hitting it on the button and the ball wasn't carrying out for them. Guys with factory bats made especially for them weren't even hitting it out guess the wrong guys are getting there bats made for them or they just need to practice more.

Hitem are you sure your not a woman ? Who half swung at a ball and hit it 325 ? You just sound like you can't hit and you're upset that other people are better than you. You said it best , you need more TALENT, period.

Well gman1 the talented guys on Good Times buy there Reeboks from Team 1 sports. It is called the Melee. All of those hard practicing talented hitters use the red balanced one. Call Alan at Team One I am sure he will sell you one. Hopefully you to can half swing and drop 325 bombs into the wind. Just do not take hitting lessons from hitem

G Man, I wouldn't wait too long if this is the bat you may want. Reebok has stopped producing this bat and inventory probably won't last much longer. These bats have been around for a few years and they come in an end load ( yellow ) and the balanced ( red ) versions. Alan from Team 1 Sports I believe still has a few in stock. Both bats are winners, durability is decent .

I guess It's time to throw in my two cents about Good Times Bats. I manage the team and been with the same group for 21 years although with a number of different players and sponsors. Like Alan from Team one said we buy or I should say players by them through him. At any time you wish to come to one of our practices at Whitesil Field in Largo Fl. please do and we will be more that happy to let you examine the bats. Fact we played 7 games and only hit 4 home runs and only scored 93 runs in all for an average of 13.29 per game way below Major expectations. Hope to see you soon in Largo.

Also, 2 of the 4 HR's were hit with a Dudley Lightning. But those weren't half swings - I can assure you of that !!

Nodd obviously you know nothing about me. I'm not a sore loser, yes I have gotten beat by a lot of better teams just wasn't yours. don't even play in 50's, wasn't even there! Yes I know a lot about good times had many with friends and family!
Made one comment and people come on here defending themselves. Hmmm wonder why? Just said the bats were amazing.
Poodass nice name u must be an ass. Again you don't know me either writing crap about me personally, then defending yourself over a comment. Nice to know you sleep with everyones bats on the team and they are never out of your possession so you know what every single teammate does with them. Sounds like you need a woman. Should change your name to jackass would be more appropriate.

No I don't but your comment was without merit and one we don't take lightly senior bats are dangerous enough without some idiot tampering with them DBurke can hit a ball 325 with a wooden bat if he needed too ! Btw his shot probably went 340 very common for him ! We actually won that tournament on defense . I keep my bat in my truck I didn't hit one 325 so my bat and I are not on speaking terms right now besides there's not enough room in my bed since I sleep with my glove these days

Too funny Nodded !

Hittem, the Reebok is great bat ( both models ), depending on your preference ( end load or balance ) I'm sure you would be very happy with this bat. We all are extremely lucky to play this game and should be thankful. Your response to Pood, seemed a bit harsh and unnecessary.

In short, get a Reebok Melee, hit some seeds all over the field, it will put a smile on your face.

What I think, not that it matters to anyone but me, there is an awful lot of talk from people who don't identify themselves on the board. Everyone is entitled to their opinion so own it and put your names on your identities. Just saying.

I am one of the co-managers for WC Thunder. We played 3 games against Good Times in this Tournament. We beat them in a seeding game 8-6. They beat us in our first tournament game 10-9, and again in the Championship game 6 to 3. The only home run I remember them hitting was a 3 run shot in the 4th inning (only played 5 innings due to rain) of the championship game. Yes, it was hit well, but the wind had died down by that point, and in my opinion, it was not a home run that I immediately thought of as "out of the ordinary". I agree with Nodd that as you can tell by the score of all 3 games, both teams played very good defense. Before, during and after all three games, the entire Good Times team represented themselves with class. Congratulation on winning the tournament!

Thanks BK, you guys have a great team and I thought we had three great games. On the other subject, it is true that most of my teammates are surprised every time I hit the ball out of the infield. I have never been accused of half swinging before. Most people that see me swing think I'm out of control. My Reebok is awesome and is probably ready to break in about ten swings. I am not using it again till our State Championships. We hit Sunday and I never pulled it out of the bag. I just used my ASA bat. I don't know how anybody can get away with tampering with a Senior bat. I have enough trouble affording to keep up with bat breakage as it is.
