Sunshine Acres Children's Home Golf Tournament
To Terry, Fran, Dave George I want to thank each of you again for your kindness in helping our kids at Sunshine Acres Children's Home for the golf tournament. The tournament will be held at LongBOW in Mesa on Fri. Nov. 21st with AM and 12:30 tee times. I understand AM is now full. I was just looking at Winter World information and loved seeing the add with tournament page for information on the golf tournament.I know you guys take a lot of heat but your kindness every year to the soon to be 90 children at Sunshine Acres is a real blessing. I encourage all in area at that time even if not golfing to come to LongBOW Fri night 6pm for Carraba's supper and Auction to benefit the kids. We have been blessed over the past 60 years to raise 2,000 children and CONTINUE to never turn a child away due to lack of funds. Support comes from faith and state and Gov't does not pay us to raise the children. Would be great to see some teams that play that week Mon-Wed stay couple more days and golf with us. Come take a tour given daily and see how God has blessed this special home. Home is at 3405 N. Higley Mesa. That is Higley and 202 freeway. Thanks again to your bunch terry. Would love to give tour to Fran and Dave and see new homes that have been built in past year. Good luck to all the teams and I will be back playing as soon as I can find a 60's team for next season. May your best be better and your better be BLESSED. Gary Ingle

I would just like to add that I have heard some very kind comments from players etc about the golf tournament. It is nice that our softball community helps support needy children and programs. I am so thankful for Senior Softball for helping and also for letting me play ball at 61 years old. Winning the triple Crown with CJS and 50 Worlds in 2009 is one of the biggest moments of my life and I am grateful as a pitcher etc that I have been able to play these years without a major injury. Again I thank each of you for your kind words and actions. I will be putting out a note soon on blog to let teams know that I am looking for a team to play with this next year. God bless you all and hope to see you at Golf tournament. Gary Ingle
