Evaluation fo Dudley Senior Bats
I know the new Dudley bats are out there. Can anyone give me their opinion that used these bats. How do they compare with the UII and Reebok? Please no distributors respond.

I have had my Dudley Lightning 28oz 12" barrel bat since Dalton. I probably have 1400 swings on it now with no problems with respect to cracking or loss of tackiness. The bat is unbelievable to me, in fact I called the Dudley rep and asked if there was a chance that the bat will be outlawed. ;)
I believe that if Dudley stands behind any defective bats and shows they are a customer oriented company, their bats will be used by the majority of senior players by next year.

I'm currently swinging a 26oz Dudley 12" endload...very nasty bat once I dialed it in. The bat-head gets around very quickly, so there is a learning curve with it and less bat control for sure! I've tried both the balanced and 13" endload and the 12 absolutely has more distance. I have a 27oz short barrel on its way and looking forward to even more distance. I thing though...although I have had no issues with mine, I have 3 friends that cracked theirs with under 300 cuts (2- 13" endload's and a balanced) and one other buddy's has over 600 swings on his balanced bat and it's a complete dud.

Thanks guys. I always find it interesting to hear from guys that have used a certain bat. I appreciate your comments. It may be me but I feel the ball travels a lot further in the southwest than in the east. In LV many of us needed to change our swings to not hit it out. Too many solos were hit. Sounds like from what I am hearing about the Dudley, some bats crack and others seem lively and last. I hope Dudley is working on this. I guess any bat mfg that can consistently produce a bat that is lively and holds up will make a fortune and never need to stop production.

I purchased a new one in Vegas at the Worlds in October and the bat was awesome right from the first swing. I know 3 or 4 other guys who bought the bat and had the exact same experience as I. I am really surprised to hear about the "dud". The bottom line with all these bats is durability - that will be the key. If the bat is durable and doesn't crack after 300 swings, then to me it is a success. I have cracked approximately 15 bats over the past 4 years of all makes and models, so no one manufacturer has a heads up over the pack, in my opinion. Hopefully Dudley has figured it out. We will see. But I expect to see lots of people swinging this bat next year. The jump off the bat on line drives is ridiculous and the distance is as good as the other senior bats from Miken, Combat, Reebok et al.

I have a 27 & 28 oz balanced models.I have owned the 27oz since June and it probably has over 1000 swings on it with multiple users (teammates)The performance is amazing, sweet spot is huge. The 28oz went into service in August and is also awesome. The 27oz does show some wear but i do keep it clean between AB's & it is still very tacky. The durability is no issue.I recommend this bat to anyone that wants to up their game. You will not be disappointed!
