Can a AAA player move to a AA team if his AAA team folded and there are no AAA teams in his area?

Yes, but there are consequences for the "team" as for your playing history at AAA. If the team comes back into play as a team with say 6-7 ( not sure exactly how many) of the existing players, if no one else has played AAA within the last 2-3 years and no one else the team picks up to complete the team shouldn't suffer.
However if there are 3 AAA players on it, you can count on playing 3A.
What the hey, play 3A and you all will improve.
Stay healthy.

taits,

I don't completely understand your reply.
We have a AA team. A AAA player wants to join our team because his AAA team folded. He will be the only player joining our team.
Is he allowed to join?

Unless the rule has changed you can have up to 3 players from the higher rating and not be penalized. Call SSUSA for the official rule but I'm just about sure that is the rule.

Ceres, Mr. Tait answered more than you asked for. Simply put, as a AAA player, you can play for a AA team in the same age bracket. If that team does not have on their roster more than 3 AAA players. If the AA team has more than 3, then they will be moved up to AAA.

The other item that Mr. Tait addressed, is a different issue, and the number is 6.

Ceres. The simple answer is yes as long as he does not cause that 55 AA team to exceed the maximum of 3 out of rating players.
