End cap repair
Just popped the end cap off my MM Combat Sr. Gear. Will Gorilla glue work for the repair? Can't find marine glue.

Should be able to get Loctite 2 part marine epoxy from hone depot or lowes. My knob came off my Legit used this and bat cracked before knob came loose again. Should work on endcap just as good.

3m marine adhesive 5200 is what I have used on 10 or so endcaps. Clean the barrel and the endcap of as much old adhesive as possible. apply plenty of 5200, insert the endcap and clamp it tight. Remove the excess quickly after clamping or it will never come off. Fast drying 5200 ($15 +/-) takes 24 hours to cure and can be found at marine shops. Regular 5200 ($5 +/-) takes a week to cure and can be found at Home Depot. This stuff is great because it stays flexible and will not crack with use over time.

Good luck,
Randy

Gorilla Glue, Locktite are quick fixes that work. Marine glue works the best because of the flexability in the glue once it drys. If you can get the 24 or one week repair kit will be better than the Gorilla Glue or Locktite only because of the flex in the Marine glue. Kevin Schullstrom is the person who found out about the Marine Glue. He repaired enough of them while working on the bats. Randy has the right idea. Try and clean the excess glue off of the barrel and end cap. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. I'm down in Mexico and cannot find the marine glue or Locktite so will give the Gorilla glue a try.
