Senior HyperZ softball bat
I wonder if Anaconda Sports will sell the Senior HyperZ softball bat.

Any board members hit with this yet? Not the prototype, but the actual 2015 "on the street" model. If so, how does it compare with what you swing?

Swung a new one last week...team mate had one...felt ok. Didnt compare with my Ambush gamer! But the Z was brand new....felt a little too flexy in the handle for me, but seemed as good as most new senior bats. Aloha, Fabe

I hit with one this morning at our weekly BP session. It was a 26 oz. that had about 50 swings on it(according to the rep) when he gave it to us to try out. About a half dozen of us put at least 300 more swings on it in a cage using 44/375 balls. Couldn't really judge distance but I can say the ball was jumping off the bat. 3 piece construction and as Fabe noted a lot of flex. I normally swing a 27 oz Melee and to me the Hyper Z swings a little heavier, with this bat I would use the 26 oz. I'll offer up some more once we get out on a field with it and according to the rep it's $199 and has a 1 year warranty which is good news to me.

I hit it along with a couple of senior Worths, BoomBah, and an Easton. I don't see any reason to change from my Dudley.

Bruce I only have around 300 swings on my Dudley 28oz 12" and my 29oz balance. Bars hit great. I'll probably buy the 13" endload. I bought a miken blackout pretty cheap. Allen said it takes around 200 to 400 swings to break in. She's hitting great at around 125 swings. Can't wait for the 200 to 400 swings on it. Hope to see you in Pensacola.

I've put about 200 swings on the new Hyper Z (Softball Spring Training) although I'm not a power hitter and can't speak to added distance being a factor, I can say I loved the feel and hit more hard line drives than ever before. So I ordered one. When I break the new one in, I'll let you know if I still love the bat or if it was a one night stance......:)

Our 50 & 55 teams out of Louisville were given 8 bats for each team.I swing Miken for 3 years now love Senior bats, the Hyperz swings heavy to me also. All the Senior bats are crazy,Question how many 50 & over would still play if we couldn't swing these hot bats. Would change Senior ball lol.

Grimmie, I'm 67 and would still play the game I love without the senior bats now that I'm retired and have the time. But it is still rewarding when I'm able to get one over the finch. That would never happen with the ole aluminum bats.

After the countless delays in bringing this bat to the actual players can it even live up to its expectations? Will the Hyper-Z be just hype? From an actual players standpoint, what do you all expect this bat to deliver?

I play in Carlsbad and took my 27oz Hyper Z out of the wrapper this morning and hit bombs. This bat is the real deal...right up there with the Dudley (which I swing), next is monitoring it's durability. Hot Hot bat!
