Frozen Rosters
Over the years, I have had a player or two play the first tourney of the year with me then decide not to continue. They were injured or just decided that their interest was not as great as they first thought. My concern is that rosters are frozen after the first official tourney of the year in most organizations. Then re-sanctioning is required in order to secure new players.

Would it be better if perhaps at least 2 tourneys be allowed in order for teams to assure commitment and availalibity? Here in the South, that would mean March and April primarily. The first review of Teams with SSUSA and SPA does not occur until some time in May for appeals up or down. So that seems reasonable.

Has anyone experienced this difficulty or do you have thoughts on it? (Thankfully, it has occurred with me this year--at least yet!)
