| March 27, 2015 coop3636 514 posts | Mobile tournament schedules.... I am wondering why the Mobile tournament schedule is such a secret. (I know it was sent to the managers) One of the great things about the SSUSA message board is that the tournament schedule is usually posted here for everyone to look at. Most of the tournaments you can go to that tournament and see the schedule (or its posted on the top of the message board) Most players like to see the whole schedule, the teams that are playing etc. We all have friends that play and some of us like to watch the different age groups so it helps to know game times etc in all the divisions. I am just wondering if its just me or would everyone else like to see the schedules put on the message board for all to see. Thanks Brett |
| March 27, 2015 Omar Khayyam 1357 posts | I'm with coop3636. I hate it when I read "schedules were sent to managers" instead of posting the schedule in an easily accessible site. I have played for a lot of managers over the years. Some are very responsive and a schedule sent to them is forwarded to the entire team within the day. Others might not get around to posting it until a few days later. Some are out of town and don't forward email easily. I want to see the entire schedule for all the reasons that coop3636 listed. |
| March 28, 2015 SSUSA Staff 3483 posts | This 10-team local qualifier was not administered by the SSUSA Home Office, but rather by an independent T.D. We have not seen the games schedule, nor do we have any requirement other than the final results be transmitted to us at the conclusion of the event. Those T.D.'s have broad latitude in how they wish to advise the participating teams on tourney administration items, and this is no exception. |
