| May 30, 2015 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | "Twilight Zone"? 10 years ago, my 55 team was in a tourney in Montgomery. We broke for lunch and about half the team went to a local (well-know) chain restaurant. One of the players ordered soup. When he dipped his spoon into the bowl for the first portion, a thumb off a rubber glove was along for the ride! He left the restaurant vowing to never darken the door again of that establishment!! One year later; same tourney, same restaurant. We convinced him to give it another try. "I know one thing for sure. I will not order soup." He ordered a salad. It looked delicious with that ranch dressing smothering all the veggies. First bite, he raised his fork and stuck to it was a cap off a salad dressing bottle!! We've not been back since. |
