This was a great tournament, well run and a lot of good teams in all divisions!

It was my first time traveling down to The States (I am from the Toronto area) to play in a Senior tourney and it was a ton of fun.
Playing different teams on nice big parks was cool... and swinging the Senior sticks with good balls
was very exciting vs the UTRIP bats and Hot Dots that they make us play with up here.

Looking forward to the next trip down to play!

I was playing 50AAA with Stubby on Durham Silver Stix, we lost to Steel City Sox from PA in the final.
They were a pretty good team and beat us 21-10, mind you we played with 10 all weekend and had 1 guy with a bad arm and 1 with a pulled hammy.
All in all a pretty good showing from our guys!

How about you bergy?

Congratulations to the Road House Blues for winning the 60 AAA and going undefeated. We finished second (Stefco Silver Stix) and were 5 and 3 with all 3 losses to the Blues. We ran out of gas on Sunday, but they were the better team this weekend.

Not sure about the 60 Major, but a bunch of my buddy's with the Bandits went undefeated to win the 55 Major division.

They have a pretty strong team and I would expect them to do well in Vegas as well.

A special thank you to Chuck Sharkey, the tournament director who ran a really great first class event. Facilities were superb. Fields were in top notch condition. Labatt's Blue Light was ice cold. Thanks to Michigan Vet and the Stefco Silver Stix for your post. We finally had a decent weekend this year. Lucked out on Saturday morning getting by the Long Island Jags and Sunday morning by the Durham Silver Stix or results may have been different. All in all, a great weekend seeing old friends and making new ones. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Congrats Bernie and Roadhouse Blues 60's. Your teams hitting, fielding, pitching kept us in check the 2 times we faced each other.
In total agreement with how well run the tournament was, the weather and the fields. Look forward to a rematch.
