250 Wrist Snaps daily, bring 80yr. Rudy, 340' Power. Amazing. SwingMakeover#33

As amazing an athlete as I have ever seen, 80 Rudy went from hitting 250' to 340' by working on his rotation and doing 250 perfect snaps a day. 5'9 174, and 80 years old, he truly is an inspiration to every hitter. Singles became topspin line drives that he works to place into the gaps.
Drills to develop this and the cutoff bat to promote good practice are introduced. Swing Makeover #33. www.sportstechnique.com

Hey bogie, U R working with SENIOR EARS here, give us a break (LOL).

I do like your teaching videos, they really help me keep my attention on the mechanics of the swing to get the most from it and as a side effect to keep my eyes on the ball (no head pull).

Thanks,
C

May i suggest a couple of tunes?? FINDING MY WAY, by Rush. (finding my way to the perfect swing???) or perhaps DAZED AND CONFUSED by Led Zeppelin......been dazed and confused for so long its not true, wanted a SWING, never bargained for you.....or for the person that really needs help....(to he tune of the song).... HELTER SKELTER, WHY CAN I NOT HIT THE BALL, HELTER SKELTER, AM I NOT CONNECTED AT ALL???!!! AND WHEN THE CONNECTION IS MADE THERE IS ONLY ONE CHOICE TO MAKE, S.R.V. AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE.....TESTIFY. (NO LYRICS, JUST A RIPPIN" MONSTER GUITAR. KIND OF LIKE THE RIPPIN" YOU DO WITH A GOOD SOLID "A" TO "B" SWING.) PLUS, WHEN YOU START "RIPPIN' SHOTS, YOU ARE GOING TO "TESTIFY TO ANYONE THAT WILL LISTEN!!!!!! (I know, it's late and i'm slap happy) FRANK SINATRA,DEAN MARTIN, AND MEL TORME SELECTIONS TO COME FOR THE CLASSIC BIG BAND CROONER LOVERS ON THE BOARD!!!

How about playing the guitar riff from "Smoke On The Water" for your video music?

Since your videos are mostly aimed at Senior Softball players. The introduction song that would best fit your videos should be the Beatles "When I'm 64"...

It appears the consensus is that the videos are great but the introduction music at the beginning of the videos needs to be dumped for something esle.

Will YOU PLEASE TEACH 1jonsey HOW TO SWING A BAT!

In the thread "WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF A FULL SWING" he seems to be trying to make a shame of your videos. This is to be contrary to everything about playing the game of slow pitch softball. For fast pitch and baseball it is common practice. But who practices bump hitting in slow pitch? Sure, once in awhile bloop hits are great, but if becomes the norm then why try for anything more?

If just bumping a ball is the way to play this game then why try to be a better hitter?
