TOC thoughts
A few weeks ago there was some questions asked as to why this tournament was being held and the timing. After the banquet Friday I had the distinct pleasure to spend about an hour with Fran Dowell and Dave Dowell at the hotel. Fran shared a thought and I hope she doesn't mind I am posting it. She mentioned that with all the planning and meetings that the tournament and banquest had exceeded what she had imagined. As a participant I echo that thought. I spoke to several Northern teams and regardless of their lack of practice they all were happy to be there. The banquet was excellent and I think Dave and Fran said there were 2200 people. The weather was magnificent, the location was outstanding, plenty of things to do, the fields, the umpires just a great weekend. Dave and Fran and the rest of the SSUSA thanks. PS If your team is invited next year this might be one to circle and figure out a way to get it into the budget. Good luck and a healthy year to everyone.

I would like to echo LeCak comments.
I was there with the Pinnacle Nissan Sidewinders 65 AA. We had a great time. I had a chance to meet Dave at the field what a great addition to Senior Softball USA. We met so many senior softball players from other states and I hope developed some new friendships. Congratulations to Budweiser for their win and to the Indy 65, who beat us twice, for their second place win. Senior Softball USA you have out done yourself s what a well organized tournament.
