March 29, 2007 bashbro1 Men's 70 267 posts | Senior logic for the only situation in which you should use your Miken Ultra II Advanced MSUA model. Usage Logic: -------- „X Never hit with your MSUA when temps fall below 60 degrees Fahrenheit, or < 15.5 degrees Celsius and Centigrade, or < 288 degrees Kelvin and Rankine temp scales. „X Never hit with balls that are wet and water-logged heavy. „X Never spend too much time breaking your MSUA bat in, as it could fracture before you can use in a game. „X Never use your MSUA in team batting practice. „X Never loan your MSUA bat to a close teammate even if it permanently ruins your relationship with him. „X Never loan your MSUA to anyone even for the good of the team. „X Never use your MSUA during an official local league game. „X Never use your MSUA during a non-championship tournament. „X Never use your MSUA during a non-ring tournament. „X Never use your MSUA in a SSUSA Qualifier. „X Never use your MSUA during a championship ring tournament if your team is ahead. „X Then only use your MSUA with the game-on-the line, period! „X And then ask the umpire to breakout a brand new game ball for this one at-bat with your MSUA. „X Or simply, don¡¦t invest in a new MSUA model and you¡¦ll never have to remember these usage criteria. March 29, 2007 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Hey Bash, September's coming soon and I'm excited. Why? 'Cause chicks dig the long ball. What a great post! Some terrific stand alone ideas all woven into an artistic satirical response. Alexander Pope has nothing on you. Really, writing at it's best. The poet laureate of Senior Softball to be sure. I used both my Combat and an old Ultra 2 in BP yesterday. Hit better shots with the Combat. |
March 29, 2007 bashbro1 Men's 70 267 posts | Thanks einstein for the "Butter", as I can use it. Bogie right now, has a 'gag' order on me taking about the Sept. event in any detail, but I do have to tell you that we will have some representation from the "Hooters" organization. They'll be there for pictures taken with them and acting as bookends during player interviews. You should see if MK39 would sponsor your trip to Seattle, as this thing could get very big quickly and with promising promotional advertising for Senior Softball and affiliations? April 2, 2007 bashbro1 Men's 70 267 posts | Ah yes, I consider myself a struggling aficinado of the ‘A. Pope”; also as a matter of fact, I’m somewhat of a master of what is referred to in poetry as “the constructed sequence of rhyming pairs” known as “iambic pentameter verse”. Quoting AP In Iambic pentamerter: “Nor let him then enjoy supreme command; But fall, untimely, by some hostile hand, And lie unburied on the barren sand! “ Bashbro1 (I’m not a poet, but would not know it?) |
