Aluminum vs Composit
I was wondering, if u have a 100mph aluminum bat and a 100 mph composit bat and are using the same ball, the same pitcher --- the ball comes off the bat at the same speed. Question wouldnt the ball carry the same distance Your thoughts please and your reasons

My guess is that if each was the same weight, same endload with the same amount of wall flex the result would be the same. Change some of these variables and the results would be different.
I know that wasn't what you wanted to hear.
Maybe someone could come up with some specifics.

I have a 28 oz PSTOC and a 30 oz MUT`120. Even though the distance I get is about the same on both (250-260') it seems to me that the ball is coming off the PSTOC faster than the MUT120.

I seem to get the same results between my PST98Z and my MUT98.

It could be my imagination because of the different sound of the metal and composite bats with the PST's having that nice loud ping and the Mutants having a dull thud sound.
