For Sale: Easton SC500 Z-Core 34" 28 oz
This is one of the best bats ever made for single wall leagues, if not the best. I purchased this on eBay as a package along with a 26oz. The 26oz is perfect for me and I never use the 28 oz. The bat is in very good condition, no cracks or dings. Looking for a good home. The bat is being sold AS-IS. Pictures upon request.

Asking $200 or best offer.

Not being a wise guy but how do they consider that bat a single wall. It has a Sc777 Allow with a Graphie core. That in my book makes it a multi0wall bat not a single wall.

Can't answer your question Fred, but they do consider it a single wall! It's tournament legal!

I know they is a sought after bats for single wall leagues (ST1Z and ST2Z). A lot of singlewall leagues that I know allow those bats but won't allow an EST. Myself I don't see the difference but what do I know.

I just think it is strange

Hey Fred, you are correct. This Easton model is NOT a single wall bat by definition.

So what is Z-Core Super Fiber and how does it work?

Easton says that Z-Core is a very high strength graphite inner core inserted in the hollow aluminum tube which provides overall better feel, greater durability, and which produces an outstanding trampoline effect. This bat performance wise, is considered superior to that of a legitimate single wall slo-pitch bat such as the C405 alloy hollow tube, for example.

Paste this link into your address line within your web browser, and it will bring up a page that classifies bats as to multi-wall and single-wall.

Thanks for the link. I use to subscribe to BSN and we would use that but now you don't get it free anymore and even if you subscribe they have it set up so you can't print out the list anymore.

Thanks again

What have I started?

OK guys, I'll amend my statement...

This is one of the best non-composite bats ever made, if not the best.

How's that! :)
