| July 7, 2007 stanley Men's 60 15 posts | mike machenko hitting show at Champaign Friday night i stayed to watch the homerun contest after our last game Friday night at the midwest championships. They never had anyone enter, but A few guys did take some bp, putting on quite a show. There was a big lefty who was cranking some bombs, none other than mike macenko. It was nice to see this guy hitting bombs again. I had talked to him at the combat booth earlier and if you get a chance stop by and say hello. he is a super guy and still a great hitter. They were hitting the new senior combat and the ball was flying. |

With all the success that he has had in this sport niceness is not really required but he's one of the most down to earth people it's been my pleasure to get to know him a little. Then he picks up the bat and lets the bat do the talking. A special individual. |
