the ump at reno western
does any one know how fritz the ump at the western world is doing? i heard he had a problem late sunday afternoon and went to the hospital! our prayers are with him!

Fritz was resting comfortably in the hospital and was rated as 'stable' when Terry visited with him briefly last evening. His wife and family were also in Reno. Everyone is confident and hopeful for his complete recovery. Thank you all for your prayers and concern.

Fritz, this is you fellow umpire working with you that day. You had angels all around you. If it weren't for those ladies trained in CPR nurses/ballplayers and the quick reactions from Jim Sherman, I think we would of lost you.

I can't say enough about those great people. God did not want you to leave us. I can't wait for the day when we work again as a team old buddy. Take care.
