| Aug. 13, 2007 uwfan 10 posts | Hey Arizona softball ! Would like to find out about Az softball. What bats to use and where to play. We are going to rent in the east valley area till our new home is build. Now use a U2 most of the time but heard Az has different rules. Any advice would be a great. Will be there in mid Sept. | Aug. 13, 2007 azsenior 92 posts | Welcome. To start you can join us at Sun Lakes just south of Chandler. We have a great field and a good group of guys. We use ASA bats for league play. Some of the tournaments allow the U2 or Combat senior. They are many parks across the east valley to play. Some are limited to those that live in the community. We play every Tus/Thur at 7:00 am till it cools off. The park is just north of Riggs – west of Dobson. Hope to see you there. |
| Aug. 14, 2007 replant 97 posts | Fountain hills, east of Scottsdale, has a league that starts September 20th at 8:00AM. El Dorado in Scottsdale has pickup games every tuesday and Thursday 8:00AM. Fountain Hills has good fields and is pretty good league. Wednesday is 65 and over and Thursday is 50 and over. |

Looking forward to meeting the guys and playing some ball. I ordered an ASA bat and should be ready to go. See you in a month or so. Thanks Joe |
