Aug. 15, 2007 Hunny B Women's 50 3 posts | so Senior rules change per tourney I'd like to know if anyone can update me on this matter: Are the Senior rules set during a tourney-ex the younger team spots the older team 5pts. Under what circumstances does this rule changes or does it....the team tht play on was told tht if we beat the other team(younger team) by too many pts tht we would lose the 5pt spread.....we beat them one of the reasons was because their pitcher walked most of our batters-mind you this is nothing tht we had any control over....so is it fair tht for the rest of the toruney we are not afforded the 5pt spread...is this legal in the terms of Senior Softball rules....please help me out... |

But it will also depend on ehich assn your talking about and ratings along with the age thing. My experience is that it does vary, but I do believe the TD's do try to bring about fairly equal teams together with having to spot runs, Perhaps you should mention which assn(s) your concerned about. |
Aug. 15, 2007 Connie Women's 55 118 posts | Hunny B The Women's Rules are set up by SSWC Headquarters and do vary from the Men's rules. The rules are also in accordance with the Women's Summit Rules (SSWAC) and may vary slightly from each organization. My suggestion is to contact your Division Director, which is posted on this site, and she will gladly send you a copy of the rules.
