Team Thrown out of Eastern national
Was at Eastern nationals in Elgin and heard a team got thrown out of the Tourny? Heard it was a 60+ team out of my home state. What happened?

From what I understand, there was some confusion with classifications. The AMR 60's apparently came in at AAA and should've been Major, dominated the competition and hit a large number of HR's, subsequently thrown out before the finals started. This is what I heard but you know how that goes.....
What were the final results for the 50 Majors? Anyone have that info.
Thanks,

Jeff

I am interested in results also. They had the confusion in the 70/75 div with major teams. I played with a player that played on Mitchell's 75+ , in Manassas this week, and they being a strong Major team and the only one in that tournament they were told they can't win anything.

We also had the same think in Manassas with one strong Major team in among the lower div 70/75's.

I realize that they need a place to play but playing lower rank teams is not a very good setup. There must be someone out there that has a solution to this problem.

The different rating organizations are going to force teams to do the following. You disband for a year. Keep four players from your old team with a new name. Then next year you pick up all your players and start over. It’s not pretty but this seems to be the way to go with all the shenanigans going on in senior softball.
