If it is O.K., asking everyone to chip in 15 $ for umpires and entry fee. Round robin--guaranteed 4 games, probably 1 dble-header. Bruce, wanta come and play? Thanks, Steve |

I'd bring my wooden bat but I spit it on the first swing at the first of the year. If Bruce would play he'd have to use a tooth pick to keep it in the park. |

Have only met Baer on here this week, Bruce. Looking forward to meeting in person and seeing him hit. There is going to be one other senior team in our round robin, then 3 young teams. | Oct. 24, 2007 Lefty Men's 75 721 posts | BMC13 and Monty we can't use the Ultra 2 but last time we could use any other bat including the senior combat. I believe it's a park rule about the Ultra bats. But with the temp. of 70 and a good shark ball any bat will do well for Sat. in Birmingham. |

I think I will just go ahead and bid 6 every time! Raining now, but weather will break Thursday night. Still predicting 70 for Saturday. See ya. Steve |
