Loose tooth !!!!
Remember when you were a kid and had a loose tooth. You kept playing around with it.....the more it hurt, the more you aggravated it, until it came out. The issues with Gary and the others is like a loose tooth. If you saw Gary in a crowd or line-up you would never be able to pick him out. I have played against him a few time and observed his presence on a local. From what I have seen, he was always quite and respectful. I think that he enjoys \"stirring up the pot\" and everyone plays into it like the loose tooth. Gary has a respectful job and I am certain that he amusement with the messge board, makes his day go by much quicker. I do not reply to too many resonses but there IS a redundancy of many and also many personal comments that should be taking up on personal emails. SSUSA has done a good deed by presenting us all with the message board, and please kids, let\'s try to make it a useful and fun tool. Sooner or later the loose tooth (or teeth) gets pulled and we have our permanent set. Let\'s all try to be a lot more positive but realize that venting is also good for our health.......just don\'t take life too serious, we are never going to come out of it alive.......Larry 33......

CAT.....Loose tooth? I don't know the guy and he might be a prince but the effect he's had on this site is more like an impacted wisdom tooth!! (<.

Larry, thanks for the words. Now notice how few people will respond to someone who has actually met me. They won't be able to factually dispute you, they sure aren't going to agree with you, so they will stay under their rocks.

doc, not that you have to but if you are so inclined go back and see how all this evolved. I brought up some things that could be improved, even mentioned suggestions, that rocked the boat of some on here who seem to believe they invented the game. Then the insulting began.

Just wondering, what do you think I initiated that was so bad?

I, for one, am glad and relieved he is different with the people he has to face on a daily basis. This might be his idea of fun holding the entire board captive. Stirring the pot might be his sole pleasure in life.

Hopefully the tooth will get pulled soon and this board can be productive again. It's not going to happen as a natural course of events as proved by his TWELVE THOUSAND + posts in softballfans.com where he would undoubtably still be causing problems if they hadn't of banned him. There was a lot of relief on that board as well as this one when both bans were in place. Most guys, myself included, hoped for the best when he forced his way back but it didn't take but a few posts before the "good neighbor" promise was broken. It shouldn't be too much longer before the board is once again a good neighborhood to be in.

Pointing out weaknesses and making suggestions is "stirring the pot"? Interesting.

Petey, what did I do to "break the promise". Get called out by that fool with the white hair? Get called Rosey by some other fool? Make excellent suggestions to improve senior softball? Anything else I miss?

Maybe when the tooth comes out, and it will, the tooth fairy will pick it up and take it away permanently.....

Gary - there is a difference between contributing and dominating for the purpose of undermining the valid contributions, thus bringing the spotlight back to yourself on your terms for the purpose of further undermining/spinning/manipulations/controlling/disrupting/taunting to continue the spiral downward with you as the center or the wheel/attention. What valid purpose that serve other than your own? Have you even began to notice the amount of posts directed at your negative actions? These are from the main stream guys - the quiet guys who've had enough while watching you destroy this entire framework of this board.

I have sat by reading for awhile now ,this childish garbage that has transpired on here as of late...I am a rebel when it comes to this game theres so much wrong with it that after 14 championships,I asked myself...other then to my team mates, what does it actually mean? I have played against (Joe) Einstein and admire his passion for the game,we had many wars on the field when I played for Fergies and Damons,I respect him as a friend & player.I don't know Gary and also understand his concern for needed changes in the senior program across the board, actually softball in general...but Dudes its basically the same argument. The game is broken, sure you still have great games but look around...alot less teams,to many different rules, bat problems.I enjoy this website because of the on field friends I have made and played against all over the country, its a softball home dugout for us all.So man up,grow up or shut up...we're all intitled to our opinions,it doesn't always mean your right or wrong,so relate something that is pertinent to solving the problems not creating trivial ones...

T, I completely agree. I did start a thread that not only expressed what I thought needed change, but also the changes, "einstein" had NO interest in participating, neither did his cronies. Apparently he would rather just repeatedly begin the same threads that feed his followers.

T-Rex has a point and his "So man up,grow up or shut up." hit the nail on the head. I would say that if we do not grow up the board will go away.

TNG all you really had to do is say you agreed and let it go. The last dig was not needed and that would go for anyone who felt the need to read what T-Rex said and agreed wtih him and then needed to get in one last dig. Everyone gets it. You don't like Joe and you don't like the road senior softball is going.

I only have a couple of questions. Other than coming on here and complaining about senior softball what have you done to change anything? And why don't you e-mail or call Joe and settle this? This whole who gets the last word in and name calling is only going to achieve one thing and that is to get this board shut down. Now unless that is the goal which I don't think it is then lets stop the fighting and name calling. Lets see if there is a happy middle that can be found.

By the way if you want things to change then get involved in the summit. It is there that rules can be changed.

william, I am still curious. How come no messages like this ever go to "einstein"?

Really TNG you cannot be that stupid? If you had read the message you would have notice it was addressed to all and if you noticed I was posting on this post only after you and you alone followed T-Rex post with a rant!!!

Why don't you get the chip off your shoulder and stop assuming everyone is picking on poor little you and not Joe. You have had plenty of people take your side as had Joe and still we are at an impasse. All I am saying is for the good of the board you and Joe need to act like senior men and not teenage boys and get this thing straighten out or at least agree to disagree and STOP THE DAMN BS. It is just that simple.

Reread your first word in your second paragraph. Now who were you addressing it to.

By the way, no I am not, and I will be happy to take an IQ test with anyone who posts on here.

Guess you missed the first sentence? Also noticed you have not answered the questions. At first I thought it was as your friend or whomever stated that you just like to stir things up but now I believe it is more about trying to get Joe banned and if that means the boards goes down in your quest then it appears that is no problem for you.

If that happens then where will you go? You should think about that as should Joe while you both continue to destroy the board. Go back to making your points and stop the fighting. That will serve the senior communiy better than the name calling and yes you have been calling Joe names as he you. You both need to stop.

If you and Joe are really concerned about senior softball and making changes then it is time to look in the mirror. Because the first change that should be made is that the BS stops and we get back to civil discussion about senior softball.

I hear you! along with the other individuals wanting this board to be used to the purpose of connecting ballplayers and providing a forum to share thoughts in a constructive not destructive manner. Some just don't get it. No matter how you say it.
