Nov. 13, 2007 azsenior 92 posts | Bill Gateley did quie a few last few seasons. I know he does some one on one lessons with our group and other at times. His number is 480-241-3717 Most players in Az know him, aka 'homerun Bill' |
Nov. 13, 2007 qdup1 25 posts | Thanks, much appreciated. As I am new to the forum, I have seen the name of "Homerun" Bill numerous times, didn't know they were one in the same. |
Nov. 14, 2007 uwfan 10 posts | I took some lessons from Bill in September. It had been awhile since I played and the swing was a little off. Must say I was very impressed with his innovative approach to adjust a new swing to an old body. And since the fee was a donation to his daughters school field trip of $10.00 it was well worth it. Do note that my hitting has improved from horrible to somewhat poor but the lessons where great. |
Nov. 14, 2007 qdup1 25 posts | Hey, that sounds great. Just an ounce of improvement for me would be worth it. The only problem is I need lots of ounces to get my swing right. I have seen many instructional DVDs that are out there, and I have gotten a lot from them, but I feel now is the time for some personal help. I am wondering just what city he is located in. Sounds like AZ. for the state. I am in SW Utah. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. |
Nov. 15, 2007 mtman 30 posts | I think Bill is working on a hitting dvd for spring. Based on my time around Bill on the field I am sure this dvd should be very good. I am not 100% on this so I hope not throwing him under the bus. |
