| Dec. 19, 2007 jah#4 Men's 55 539 posts | Cliff That one more than it was last year. Hollis had to play down in the 50 Major + division Don Ward |
| Dec. 19, 2007 audieh Men's 60 229 posts | Come on guys if you can make it please do! We're tired of beating up on the 50 major plus teams! :) We need a division of our own. Lets hear it from the Animals, Grimes, MTC, and Ruth! If all 6 of us show up it will be an outstanding tournament. |
| Dec. 19, 2007 hornachec Men's 55 50 posts | Sorry Guys, Ruth 55's will not be attending TOC this year. Off season surgeries / 3+ month lay off / high travel cost / makes it impossible for us to field a competative team this year. Still think TOC should be in November a few weeks after worlds. | Dec. 20, 2007 jah#4 Men's 55 539 posts | Audie you are really making some friends in the 50 Major+ division. they might combo it like last year. did you said you where going to pitch to the weaker division? don |
| Dec. 20, 2007 audieh Men's 60 229 posts | Don, I can assure you it was said "tongue in cheek" and was directed at my own 50s team! |
| Dec. 20, 2007 jah#4 Men's 55 539 posts | Audie I knew it was. like when I said you were to pitch. Gary would go off if he was a second string pitcher |
| Dec. 20, 2007 vinniec Men's 50 18 posts | Off topic , First I apologize for responding here, but what 50 major teams will be in Lakeland for the TOC ? Windy City Softball will be there... Who else ?....Cliff and Mary since I don't have your #'s, I would like to wish you the best holiday season one could have......While i'm wishing....To all ...I wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year....vinnie |
| Dec. 20, 2007 18mike Men's 55 23 posts | BEAT UP ON 50 MAJOR PLUS TEAMS YOU SAY! HAVING THE CHOICE(50 VS 55) OF HAVING 11 FIELDERS OR EXTRA RUNS IS REALLY CLOSE TO INSANITY... This whole Senior Softball program needs to be overhauled soon. $675 to play in a Tournament plus travel expenses is hard to take. Sponsors willing to give $20K to bankroll a team don't exist any more. I tried to run a 50 Major plus team last year and what was promised by sponsors did not come to fruition. I learned the hard way...but never again |
