"Young" Over 60 Player looking for tournament team
The team I was on the past few years, the Old Dawgs 55, broke up, with some of them joining the Wildwood team from Penn Valley. I am a line drive hitting infielder (mostly 3B) with pop who would like to find an over 60 senior softball tournament team based in Northern CA with players who get along and are there to have fun while playing quality slow pitch senior softball. I am in good shape - can still run. Contact me at jellison@surewest,net to discuss possibilities.

Parody on the above:

I’m a real "old looking" over the hill 60's player looking for a competitive SSUSA tournament team in ’08. The team I was on the past few years got rid of me, they were known as “Nine Catchers” playing out of Orting, WA. I was cut primarily because I was a crappy player and I didn’t get a long with anyone.

I am a “second cousin” to a line drive hitting catcher with no pop who would like to find an over 60 senior softball tournament team based in Washington, Oregon or Idaho. I am in really bad shape especially “fat” – and I’ll need a runner every stinking time I get on base. If anyone is interested in me by chance, please contact me at imsofat@fatcity.net to discuss the possibilities of me joining your ballclub next season!

Gotta love ya, bashbro1. If Washington bordered Texas, you could be our catcher. Slow and all. Merry Christmas.
PS Another great post

Jon,
Penn Valley isn't that far from you, and Wildwood is a vg team. I've played against both. That so Cal team might be a good choice but the traffic down there is twice as bad as Sac. Most of the teams have a lot of comradery, anyway. But it's usually the off field things that sometimes effect the on field happenings.

jonny5, saw your post and yesterday I was looking for something and I saw an little golf size softball given to us by the Old Dawgs 55 back in 2003 in Mobile AL. I played with Office Products Warehouse 55. We played you for the championship. It's great to remember things like that.
Were you part of that team? If you were and was the 3rd baseman you will have no problem picking up on a Good 60 team. You were a great player.

Bashbro, your post are always great, I know you were just mocking jonny5, but you always keep the board from getting bored.

Merry Christmas all.
