Palm Springs event
My team is making plans to attend the tournament in early March in Palm Springs. One of the players on our team said he heard that the Big League Dreams fields do not allow the "Senior-only" bats. Is this true? Are those bats banned for the whole tournament, or only the games at Big League Dreams? Need to know, as obviously this will have amn impact on what bats we need to bring.

Thanks in advance.

udaplya,
Click the tournament link on the left side of the home page, and go down to spring worlds, and click on details.
That will show you the fields they plan on using

No Ultra's allowed inside BLD Complexes, this is a company wide policy. You can use the Senior Combat, Worth 510, Demarini Gerzzer.

Off site fields that may be used will allow all above including the Ultra.

The Ultra II is permitted in Manteca BL Dreams. I think SS USA is trying to get all BL Dreams fields to permit Ultra II.

The ultra ll was not allowed in Manteca BLD last year. I played there twice. The Senior Combat was ok.
The ultra ll was not allowed in Palm Springs (Spring Worlds) last year in the BLD.
I don't know about this year, but I doubt it.

No BLD park will allow the U-2 except for the Fresno one, it is privately owned.
I have put 5 tournaments on there.
The others made a corporate decision NOT TO allow the U-2. That was 2 years ago.
Perhaps a FOD park will,I do not know. Ask the General Manager, who can usually be found during normal hours and tournaments.

That's a break through!!

That is a major stitch in policy. But good for us.
The reason given by the Manteca GM was insurance...
Maybe SSUSA is covering it ...They do have their own source.
