Player looking for 60+ leagues and tournaments - East Tennessee and surrounding states
Line drive hitting (.600) outfielder/3B, 61, Knoxville area resident, looking for leagues and tournaments in the East Tennessee/GA/ALA region. Would appreciate hearing from anyone out there who knows of any leads to follow up on. Tks. Rarity Bay Norm

Norm there is a 60+ team in the Knoxville area and some of the players play in the Tellico league. I have sent your post to them. I don't know how many players they have but will try to let you know.

JoeD; Thanks for the input. I'm relatively new to the area. I played as a fill in for one of Perry Reynolds' regulars in an exhibition game last fall in Knoxville for his 65+ team, the Stars. Perry saw some of what I can do. Understand the Stars are in a four team league with just a few younger guys grandfathered in. Scuttlebut last fall was that they may look starting a Knoxville area 60+ league. I'm in the Tellico league, so maybe there's a possibility of a line into Knoxville through that group. Thanks much for the lead, Joe.

HI Norm...
I manage a team out of the north Atlanta area. We are a 60+ AAA team and are always looking for good 60+ players.
Please let me know if you found a team and/or if you're interested in trying out for a team that's 180 miles away.
Thanx!
