Christian Bros Auto will be in Irving March 28 and 29. What other 60 3A teams will be there? What 60's team at any level will be there? Be nice to have an idea who is coming. Looking forward to Irving. Everyone stay healthy and lets have some fun. See yall there

Greg-
At this point, Boaz/ASI plans to attend. Frank tells me there should be about 12 teams entered. 60s will be the YOUNGEST age group. LL

Double L, did Frank say a "total" of 12 teams or 12
60+.

OREO, Frank said "12 teams" so I assume that would be the total. Bear in mind that the tournament will only have the over 60 age groups. The Young Guys will be in Mustang per Frank.

According to the mass replies, I guess we play Boaz Export/ASI best out of 3. We'll take 10 runs and an extra player. Might make it a game then. See you there.

GT, "Mass replies" indeed! I hope it doesn't wind up that way. With 12 teams, supposedly, your team and ours should get to play a few games against other teams. LL

Greg,

I'm sure the Dallas Spurs will be there. They're still rated AA, but I would bet they'll get re-rated before the season is over. They've picked up several new guys and ought to be pretty good this year.

Unfortunately, my bunch won't be coming down from Arkansas. Their leagues don't start up there until April, so they don't want to play this early.

TT, good to hear from you. Time to get out and play. Tell your Arkansas buds it softball time. Kind of thought they would be in Irving. Any idea who else will be there. I knew Spurs would be. Always fun to play Ed's team. . I'm happy to be back playing this year. Stop by and say hi. Will your team be going to Baytown in April?

Received email from Frank last week, at that time
had 6 teams in 60+ and thought there would be
additional teams. He did not indicate team
classification, may be all major & major+
and our little aa team

OREO, I doubt there will be ANY other Major or Major Plus teams. I do not know of ANY Major Plus teams in Texas or any surrounding states. I am also not aware of any Major teams UNLESS the Florida boys come which I doubt very much. LL

LL, that was a little tongue'n cheek comment. I don't
expect anymore than the same teams we see every
year in these texas tournaments. Maybe due to the
previous popularity of the Baytown bbq blast we will
see some out of state teams.
