RATINGS
QUESTION!
WHY IS THERE ONLY A 3 MEMBER BOARD TO REVIEW AND MAKE RATING DECISIONS?
ALSO WE ARE A O.K. AAA TEAM AND A GOOD AA TEAM AND HAVE NEVER WON A NATIONAL TOURNEY AND JUST BECAUSE WE WON A QUALIFIER WE WERE BUMP UP LAST YEAR.
THIS DON'T MAKE SENSE I THOUGHT YOU HAD TO WIN A NATIONAL TOURNEY OR AT LEAST COME IN SECOND OR THIRD TO GET BUMPED UP.
ONE OF THE QUALIFIERS WE ONE WAS IN VEGAS AND THERE WAS ONLY 3 OTHER TEAMS BESIDES US.
CAN'T SEE HOW A COMMITTEE CAN GO BY THAT!
THAT YEAR WE WON ONE OTHER QUALIFIER!
WE NEVER GOT TO PLAY A NATIONAL TOURNEY IN AA STANDINGS.
PLEASE GIVE ME A REASONABLE ANSWER!
THANKS

RAG, a double-A team I played with 4 years ago was bumped to AAA as we left for the nationals. We had played 4 years in 55 as AA and never won a national tour.
Some times you get bumped up because you tick someone off (that is what happened to us).
Sometimes you beat a team and they fuss to the 'raters'.
Then sometimes a team has picked up some additional players from an upper division, say 3 or 4 AAA players, this can get you bumped up.
You can protest via writing to get bumped back down. You need a good reason. Also call the org where you are playing tour's.
The time for a protest may have passed for this year.

crusher had the same happen to us. we form a team and started AA, we won the last quailifier of the year for our area.before we could go to the westerns we told we would be AAA. we did not have a chance to qual anyone before we would be going to the westerns and the worlds.we p.o. someone who wrote a letter on us and next thing we know we were bumped up. never got the chance to compete at the AA level. it was won by the letter writer who hadn't beat us that year.
