MURL SKALLA UPDATE
MOST OF THE SOFTBALL WORLD KNOWS THAT MURL SKALLA, COACH FROM THE SCRAPIRON 60'S, SUFFERED A STROKE,
HE HAS A TYPE OF BRAIN CANCER, AND HAS BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS.
HE IS UNDERGOING CHEMO AND RADIATION TREATMENTS.
HE IS STILL FAIRLY ALERT AND IS FIGHTING THIS. I TRY TO GO BY AND SEE HIM WHEN I CAN. I WILL TRY TO KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED.
MURL IS A SOFTBALL ICON HERE IN COLORADO AND ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. HE NEEDS PRAYERS FROM EVERYONE.
HE IS FIGHTING THIS BUT NEEDS HELP FROM ABOVE.

THANKS TO ALL HIS FRIENDS FOR THEIR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

Mike, Is there an address at the hospital where we might send Murl a card?

Just want to add the prayers of the senior softball community here in Albuquerque. We've played against Murl and the Scrap Iron teams throughout the years. He has been great ambassador for senior softball. Good luck, BIG Man. Ed Sullivan.
