Any Rockin' Reno unofficial results?
The Rockin’ Reno tournament concluded this past weekend, can anyone share some unofficial results in the various brackets?

Also, any comments about playing on the 1.4 million square feet of artificial turf at the new Golden Eagle Complex?

Thanks,

Rich

Rich,

Golden Eagle fields were terrific. There was a one-hour monsoon with heavy rain and winds. The fields drained instantly and we continued our game within minutes after the rains stopped. The entire field is artificial - red infield, green outfield, and NO dirt anywhere. The batter's box is painted and a bit too narrow.

Don't hold me to all of these, but here is what I think I know:
65 Major+: Blue Jays beat Ruth
65 Major: ??
65 AAA: Renegadws beat LV Elks
65 AA: Fastsigns beat Prospectors
80: River Hawks beat Northwest
70 Major+: Seals beat Joseppis

I thought the Golden Eagle fields were tremendous, true bounces, easy on the knees and no issues sliding. The tournament was tremendous at one point on Saturday you had the 40's, 50 Major Plus, 50 Major, 55 Major Plus, 55 Major and 60 Major Plus all playing within a few hours of each other, lots of Homeruns and lost balls. Nice to meet old friends and I got a treat on Saturday nite I helped a 40 team out and got to play against Mike Clary's MAC II team. Great bunch of guys.

No results from my end sorry.

The new fields were great. Took some getting used to on the infield but pretty neat.
