Couple of questions for Trumpball spinning and your BP balls
Trumpball if I may I have a couple of questions. 1.) Your BP ball the one that is light pink how does that compare in performance to the new ball being tested by the assocoations? I have hit your BP balls and if you can spin the ball they give good distance. I do know if you hit them flush they probably aren't going 300 ft.

On spinning could you elaborate on some practice routines. In the early 70's I had the priviledge to hit with some old timers out of Pittsburgh and what they did was had two tone painted softballs and they worked on making sure that the eyes were trained to pick out a color. The lesson must have stuck I very rarely break a bat and I can't hit a hard groundball to 3B if I tried. That was almost 40 years ago what new would you recommend for guys wanting to work on spinning the ball.

Thanks for your time and if anyone else wants to share a tip I'm sure it would be appreciated.

I actually make a BP ball for evil that is 2 color and will be featured on Ken Van Bogarts new hitting video, it is a great training tool to use.
The new ball performs much better than the bp balls you mention but similar in the idea when you hit them square they do not travel well.

the anaconda made, Evil bp 2 tone ball is pretty awesome. They carry well and seem easy on the bats too. Its easy to pick up the spin....sideways will show if your early or late....you can see great underspin when you catch them right and hit a rising line drive. Your right on about the great hitters of pre composite and double wall days. They spun the ball to hit it out and those guys had great swings. Flat hit balls should not carry out, but often they do with the senior combat and other composite bats...its part of todays game but they sure didnt go out back in the days your mentioning.....these evil bp balls give immediate feedback and ours have taken a beating and have lasted well. Keep stoney behaving.

Hey Bog,

2 tone balls?
Are you sure?
Walk proud, my good man, walk proud.
If you're teaching it then it's got to work but I was starting to think
a little bit of my San Francisco may be rubbing off on you.
I hope the flooding was far away from you and the corn fields.

Bogie Thanks for the reply we got Stoneman covered here in Vegas. It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it. What is your experience once you determine what type of ball movement your swing is producing. I would think without some mechanical change you will have a result but then adding a change to get the desired result would be difficult. Would love to hear your thoughts.
