MURL SKALLA PASSING
I RECIEVED A CALL THIS MORNING INFORMING ME OF MURL SKALLA HAS PASSED AWAY TODAY JUNE 21ST.

MURL WAS ONE OF THE FOUNDERS OF SCRAP IRON SOFTBALL IN COLORADO. HE COACHED THE SCRAPIRON MAJOR PLUS TEAM FOR MANY YEARS.

I HAVE KNOWN MURL FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND WE LOST A REAL SOFTBALL ICON, AND A GOOD FRIEND.

I WILL FORWARD MORE INFORMATION AS I RECEIVE IT. THE FUNERAL WILL MOST LIKELY BE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 27TH.
