As a young 15 year old his mother would not let him travel to England to play in the Jimi Hendrix Eperience. Later went on to create some great music of his own and I do believe later accuse Led Zeppelin of ripping off one of his riffs when Page put music to Stairway to Heaven. Who am I? No Googling. You get this one you know your rock n roll.

I believe this falls under rock-n-roll, in the movie Rio Bravo, what two singers played in the movie, one maybe wasn't rock-n-roll, but the other was.

Name this 60's rocker,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

He was the manager, producer and drummer for the band. He also wrote most of their songs.
He would play and sing with his drums positioned at the front of the stage with the guitarists and keyboard behind him.

I guess I should have said in an otherwise male band. If no one comes up with it, I will give it to you. The one I'm thinking of was on a #1 record in the UK and #5 in the US in 1964.

First I would like to say that these are great questions. Joe, is it because of the famous Butcher cover that was under the original?
Aug. 3, 2008

The cover is known as the butcher cover. The Beatles wanted to do a protest about the Vietnam war and the cover showed them in bloody smocks with them holding meat cleavers and torn up baby doll parts. The album was released and immediate protest went up. The few hundred that made it to stores are known as first state and command huge money. The remainder were stickered over with a mundane copy. WIth some TLC the sticker can be pulled off and even these are quite valuable. In the late 80's I had a first state and sold it and built a complete backyard. Wish I stil had it. Joncon your up.
